Moving to new premises

Hi Everyone,

It is with great regret, that due to a number of ongoing issues with Colaiste Choilm, we feel it is in the best interest of North County Gymnastics Club to move facilities.

We have secured a FANTASTIC Community Hall in Rolestown Swords (directions and map below). It is located just 5 minutes from JC’s Supermarket and has ample storage for existing and also new equipment we hope to attain soon.

Our new hall is the same size as Colaiste Choilm with the added bonus of a stage area where our beam will remain as a permanent fixture. We are extremely excited as the new facility will give the club the opportunity to grow and develop that our existing premises could not offer.

We are now in a position to offer more classes and order that new equipment we want so much. We understand that the change of premises may be an inconvienence and could cause some problems but we strongly believe it will benefit the club immensely in the long run. We have move several kilometers which is serviced by the 41b from Swords.

We hope to have all our members back in September for a fresh start with plenty of fun and hard work!! Should you no longer require a place we would greatly appreciate if you would contact either Leone (Tel: 0876204593) or Lisa ( Tel: 0868472955).

Summer Camp 08 News

North County Gymnastics Club ran a Summer Camp from the 14th July – 18th July.

It was a great success and lots of fun was had by all involved.

 

Gymnast of the Month

The following gymnasts were all awarded  “Gymnast of the Month” for June.  Ross, Jessica, Niamh & Pj, have all worked extremely hard and have shown such determination, persistence and enormous effort in all their work.  Well done guys!

UPCOMING EVENTS

New Term
Our new term will commence on the 6th  September, we have sent out a calendar of our September - December Term which should reach you in the spot very soon.

Christmas Display
We will be finishing off the September term with our annual Christmas Display, this will take place on the 13th December.

Parents Day
We are due to hold a Parents Day this term and will be in contact with the exact date.  What this space.

Fundraising Events
We are very keen to broaden our range of equipment and therefore desperatley need funds, if anyone has any ideas for fundraising events or would like to assist in any fundraising events please talk to one of the coaches.  Ideally we will try to secure sponsorship from local business and fundraising events, maybe your company would like to donate towards this new equipment. Local sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.
